Wrote Nancy Swanick's obituary for CAMRA's What's Brewing

Nancy Swanick, landlady of Manchester's Peveril of the Peak for 55 years, died in July 2026, days after the Pev was named the UK's best pub by Time Out. I wrote her obituary for CAMRA's What's Brewing, and the Central Manchester branch presented the pub with a certificate for Commitment to Long Service at a social in her memory. I was subsequently quoted on the story by I Love MCR and the Manchester Evening News.
